Mechanical Surveyor(Boiler / Turbine)

Job description

**Key Responsibilities** - Conduct stage-wise inspection of Boiler Pressure Parts, Drums, Headers, Coils, Economizers, Superheaters, Reheaters, and associated components. - Witness fit-up, welding, NDT, hydro tests, dimensional checks, and final inspections. - Review WPS/PQR, welder qualifications, ITPs, QA/QC procedures, and manufacturing records. - Verify compliance with ASME Sec-I, Sec-V, Sec-VIII, Sec-IX and applicable project specifications. - Monitor material traceability and documentation. - Prepare inspection reports and coordinate with client, manufacturer, and QA teams. •       •  Good report-writing and client communication skills.•       •  Proficiency in MS Office and inspection documentation•       Candidate shall possess sound knowledge of Boiler/Turbine metallurgy and materials including Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel and creep-resistant high-temperature materials such as P22, P91, P92, T91 and T92. Experience in material traceability, PMI verification, PWHT review, NDT witness and ASME code compliance is mandatory• - NDT Level-II (UT/PT/MT/RT) **Qualification** **&** **Experience** - Diploma (12 to 17 Years)/B.E (10-15 Years) in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 1015 years of experience in Boiler manufacturing inspection. - Knowledge of ASME Codes mandatory.
