• RTD - real time dispatch • Activity manager OR Activity manager reporting • Support MES (Manufacturing Execution System, IBM SiView) and shop-floor applications, including RTD (Real-Time Dispatcher), Scheduling, Capacity Planning/Optimization, MCS (Material Control System), Reporting and CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). • Design, develop, maintain and test software solutions for Fab automation. • Collaborate with Fab operations team to understand business objectives, analyse operational needs, and implement robust, scalable solutions. • Partner with IT process control and quality teams to identify and implement process improvements. • Contribute to cross-functional projects to enhance production efficiency and quality. • Provide support to Fab operations through application deployment and training setup. • Ensure high uptime and reliability of MES and shop-floor systems. • Create and maintain documentation, including protocols, reports, trace matrices, test cases, and validation protocols. • Author work instructions and process documentation for setup and maintenance of processes. • Design and implement data management strategies for integrating MES solutions with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and manufacturing databases. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize production impact. • Participate in shift pass-down meetings and provide detailed reports or feedback to production and engineering teams. • Monitor, track, and report operational performance and issues during daily operations meetings. • Conduct comprehensive functionality tests for new and updated applications to ensure desired results. • Assist in root cause investigations and implement corrective changes or updates. • Review configuration changes with the Program Change Review Board (PCRB). • Strong programming skills in C#, C++, Java, SQL, and Oracle, with at least 3 years of software development experience. • Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging complex manufacturing systems. • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Improvement methodologies. • Ability to work effectively in a cleanroom environment and support high-volume manufacturing operations. • Strong sense of urgency and ownership in operational support and execution. • Practical problem-solving skills for production-critical situations, maintaining composure under pressure during system failures or production issues. • Proactive approach to root cause analysis and implementing long-term corrective solutions. • Strong time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and IT teams. • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, tools, and semiconductor systems. • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving manufacturing needs and fast-paced environments.
