**Role & responsibilities** - Metallurgy Quality Control-Mechanical testing **Preferred candidate profile** Position Asst Manager: Mechanical Testing Department-Metallurgical Quality Control Qualification-Diploma/B. Tech - Metallurgy / Mechanical Experience-4 - 6 years Role-Metallurgical Quality Control : Mechanical Testing **Key Activities-** Mechanical Testing Lab compliance as per ISO 17025 Metallurgical Testing and Certification of finish products (viz. as forged, as finish machined) Ensure Control Plan Compliance for Testing of As Forged/As Heat Treated/ As Machined components. Calibration and AMC of Metallurgy Lab Equipments Monitor Sample preparation of parts for Metallurgical Testing such as valve bodies, connecting rods, Porsche crankshafts, portal axles, and Meritor knuckles. Primary analysis of failed mechanical testing results: Testing Lab NABL Documentation Metallurgical Sample preparation tracking to receive timely test results Material testing support for HT process establishment Coordinate third-party testing (ABS, Lloyds, IRCLASS, RINA). Mechanical Testing lab compliance for IATF and Customer Audit TPM/HSE Compliance, Initiate Kaizens, 5S, Safety related activities. Mechanical Testing (Tensile & Impact) support to Group companies. Close co-ordination with Machining Supplier for timely receipt of regular samples. Conduct yearly audit. Manpower Handling Experience on Forging/Heat Treatment processes is preferred **Key Deliverables & Technical Skills required-** Metallurgy Lab Management Timely Testing of Components QMS IATF Systems / TPM methodology Manpower Handling Quick Learner QMS
