**Job Description: Mould Management Executive.** **Grade - JM III. - Mid Senior.** **Purpose of the Role** To ensure effective mould development, commissioning, performance, health, and lifecycle management by achieving optimum mould efficiency, quality, uptime, and cost through structured tracking, vendor coordination, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement. **Qualifications & Experience** **Educational Qualification:** - Diploma in Mould making from **CIPET(DPMT,PDPMD).** **Experience:** - **Minimum 5 years** of hands-on experience in mould management, preferably in Injection Moulding, Extrusion blow moulding, Injection stretch blow moulding(,Injection blow moulding **(Injection moulding and ISBM must) (Packaging / FMCG)** industry. **Key Roles & Responsibilities** **Mould Development & Commissioning** 1. Track mould development as per defined SLA for the plant and ensure **First Time Right (FTR)** mould development. 2. Monitor mould commissioning, validation, and corrections for **Bottle and Cap moulds**. 3. Ensure moulds run at **standard cycle time (CT)** and achieve process stability. 4. Ensure **100% cavity availability** and efficiency during mould operation. 5. Achieve mould CT reduction through process optimization and technical improvements. 6. Conduct mould revalidation at vendor locations and update mould health cards. 7. Coordinate with plant and vendors for mould related issues. **Mould Performance & Reliability** 1. Maintain mould-related **MTTR and MTBF targets**. 2. Reduce overall mould downtime and improve OEE contribution. 3. Ensure **no-flash component target** and control mould-related quality losses. 4. Maintain defect rate **12%** through robust mould performance. 5. Maintain breakdown records, root cause analysis, and action closure. 6. Address and close quality issues related to mould design, wear, or process. **Mould Maintenance & Lifecycle Management** 1. Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance at defined frequencies. 2. Improve mould life from through structured maintenance, refurbishment, and upgrades. 3. Plan and execute mould refurbishment activities with vendors. 4. Maintain mould health tracker and periodic condition monitoring. 5. Attend maintenance activities where necessary to ensure standards compliance. 6. Development of mould management module for all plant locations . **Vendor & Spare Management** 1. Maintain critical mould spares availability at vendor end. 2. Maintain supplier performance metrics and scorecards. 3. Ensure mould supplies and services **OTIF (On Time In Full)**. **Knowledge, Skills & Competencies** **Technical Skills** - Mould procurement and ordering - Mould technical inspections and corrections - Bottle & Cap mould commissioning - Blow moulding process optimization( EBM+IBM+ISBM) - Preventive & breakdown maintenance practices - Trouble shooting of process related issues on machine (EBM,IBM/IM,ISBM) - Process parameter setting on machine for EBM/IBM/IM/ISBM **Behavioural & Functional Competencies** - Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills (TCBA-based costing) - Analytical and problem-solving capability - Attention to detail and documentation discipline - Ability to work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain - Continuous improvement mindset **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** - Mould downtime reduction - Mould refurbishment - Mould efficiency (% cavity availability) - CT adherence and reduction - MTTR & MTBF achievement - Defect rate 12% - Mould life extension achievement - First Time Right mould development - OTIF performance (supplies & service's) - Quality issues resolution
