Network Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to manage and support the organizations network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, supporting firewall and VPN configurations, and ensuring stable and secure network operations. Roles & Responsibilities Monitor LAN, WiFi, and Firewall network performance. Troubleshoot connectivity and network-related issues. Configure switch ports, VLANs, and basic routing. Support wireless access points and SSID configurations. Monitor firewall logs and security alerts. Assist in firewall rule and NAT configuration. Coordinate with IT teams and vendors. Maintain network documentation and reports. Perform network health checks and preventive maintenance. Configure and support Site-to-Site VPN and Remote VPN connections. Required Skills Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networking. Understanding of WiFi technologies and troubleshooting. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN concepts. Basic understanding of Firewall and Network Security. Familiarity with routers, switches, and access points. Good troubleshooting and communication skills. Network Certifications Any one Network Certification preferred (CCNA / Fortinet NSE / Sophos / Juniper Certification). Preferred Knowledge VLAN configuration. NAT and ACL concepts. Firewall policy basics. Network monitoring tools. Sophos / Cisco / Juniper / Fortinet basic administration knowledge. Purpose of Hiring The Network Engineer position is required to strengthen network operations, improve infrastructure monitoring, ensure secure connectivity, and support day-to-day business operations for the Pune location.
