Job Summary We are looking for a qualified and motivated OBG Registrar Doctor to provide clinical care to obstetric and gynecological patients under the supervision of senior consultants. The role involves managing routine and emergency cases, assisting in procedures and surgeries, and ensuring safe, timely patient care. Key Responsibilities • Assess and manage patients in the OPD, wards, labour room, emergency, and OT. • Conduct antenatal and postnatal assessments and monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing. • Manage normal labour and assist in the management of obstetric emergencies. • Assist consultants in cesarean sections and gynecological procedures/surgeries. • Perform procedures within the scope of training and hospital privileges. • Identify high-risk pregnancies and promptly escalate cases to senior consultants. • Attend emergency calls and provide timely initial management. • Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation. • Monitor investigations, medications, and treatment plans. • Participate in ward rounds and coordinate patient care with nursing and other departments. • Counsel patients and relatives regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. • Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards. • Participate in academic activities, case discussions, audits, and clinical meetings. • Ensure proper handover of patients between shifts. Qualifications • MBBS from a recognized medical institution. • MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology preferred, or appropriate postgraduate qualification/training as required by the hospital. • Valid medical registration with the applicable Medical Council/NMC. • Previous experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology is preferred. Required Skills • Good clinical assessment and decision-making skills. • Ability to manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies. • Good communication and patient-counselling skills. • Ability to work effectively with consultants, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams. • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies. • Strong documentation and organizational skills. Key Performance Areas • Quality and safety of patient care. • Timely management and escalation of emergencies. • Accurate clinical documentation. • Effective coordination with the OBG team. • Compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols. Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
