Job Description – Oracle HCM Technical Consultant – Fast Formula Experience: 6+ Years Role: Oracle HCM Technical Consultant – Fast Formula Locations: Noida, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Coimbatore Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Fast Formula, Oracle HCM integrations, SQL/PLSQL, and HCM technical solutions . The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, with a primary focus on Fast Formula development and complex HR business rules . The role will involve working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Oracle HCM Technical • Design, develop, and support technical solutions in Oracle HCM Cloud . • Work across Oracle HCM modules including Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent , and related modules. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Develop technical specifications, solution designs, and integration documents. • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support. Fast Formula Development • Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle HCM Fast Formulas based on business requirements. • Create complex Fast Formulas for: • Payroll calculations • Absence and leave eligibility • Compensation • Benefits • Validation and defaulting rules • Eligibility profiles • Assignment and employee-related business rules • Debug and troubleshoot Fast Formula errors and calculation issues. • Optimize existing formulas for performance and maintainability. • Work with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into appropriate Fast Formula logic. • Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT for Fast Formula changes. Oracle HCM Integrations • Develop and support integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party systems. • Work with REST/SOAP APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL, and file-based integrations . • Develop and maintain inbound and outbound interfaces. • Support data mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling. • Troubleshoot integration failures and data discrepancies. SQL & Data • Develop complex SQL/PLSQL queries for data extraction, validation, troubleshooting, and analysis. • Analyze Oracle HCM data structures and identify root causes of data-related issues. • Perform data validation and reconciliation across HCM modules and integrated systems. Reporting & Technical Development • Develop and support BI Publisher (BIP) reports and templates. • Work with OTBI for reporting and data analysis. • Support HCM Extracts and other Oracle reporting solutions. • Ensure technical solutions meet performance, security, and data-quality requirements. Testing & Production Support • Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment . • Prepare test scenarios and test data for Fast Formula and technical changes. • Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis. • Support defect resolution and post-production stabilization. Mandatory Skills • 6+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Technical development. • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM Fast Formula . • Experience developing complex Fast Formulas across multiple HCM modules. • Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud . • Strong SQL/PLSQL skills. • Hands-on experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs , and integrations. • Good understanding of Oracle HCM data structures and HR business processes. • Experience in troubleshooting and production support. Good-to-Have Skills • Oracle HCM Payroll. • Oracle Absence Management. • Oracle Compensation and Benefits. • Oracle Core HR. • Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC). • Oracle Talent Management. • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) . • BI Publisher (BIP). • OTBI. • Experience with third-party integrations. • Oracle HCM Cloud certification. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of: Oracle HCM Cloud Technical + Fast Formula + SQL/PLSQL + HCM Integrations + HCM Extracts + APIs Fast Formula development experience is mandatory. Candidates with only generic Oracle HCM technical experience and no hands-on Fast Formula development experience would not be preferred.
