Packaging Quality Executive

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Quality Management: Establish and monitor Quality Checks (QC) for incoming packaging materials and drive continuous improvement in PM durability and functionality. • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Manage vendor relationships through regular performance reviews, KPI tracking, and resolution of queries. • Artwork & Transition Management: Lead artwork transitions and maintain transition agility to support product launches and re-branding with minimal lead times. • Vendor Development & Audits: Identify and onboard alternate vendors to de-risk the supply chain; conduct periodic vendor audits to ensure compliance with Maricos standards. • Planning & Network Management: Manage Material Requirement Planning (MRP), order management, and inventory levels to ensure zero production loss. • E&O Mitigation: Actively manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) stock during transitions to minimize financial write-offs. • Commercial Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement commercial guidelines. • Projects: Undertake innovation, value unlocking, and sustainability projects in the packaging domain. • MIS & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed MIS for A/W Transitions, vendor performance and PM Quality scorecard Preferred candidate profile • Graduate in Engineering (Preferred) and Packaging Technologists (IIP Graduates). • 3 to 5 years experience in PM quality, with planning experience • Experience in FMCG or Consumer Goods industry is highly desirable.
