Job description

**Role:** Panel Officer Boiler **Reporting to:** Shift Incharge - CPP **Purpose:** To perform safe and economical DCS operation of boiler, ash handling and coal handling system and ensure continuous availability of boiler. **Responsibility:** - Manage the operations of boiler from DCS control panels. - Monitor control panel data and alarms, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain safe and efficient operations. - Startup / Shutdown as per operating procedures. - Instruct and interact clearly with field operators for making necessary changes in the field and co-ordinate with shift engineer, and for proper line up and related safety aspects. - Record boiler parameters and other necessary data. - Provide back up to turbine field officer on Turbine DCS when turbine field officer is on field round. **Educational Qualification:** B.E./ B.Tech Mechanical **Years of Experience: 5** to 8 years of experience in similar capacity **Knowledge:** - Knowledge of boiler DCS operation. - Knowledge of CFBC Boiler. - Knowledge of boiler parameters, interlocks, water chemistry, etc. - Knowledge of equipment startup/ shutdown, maintenance and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of turbine interlocks. **Behavioral Competencies:** Proactive, teamwork, problem solving, communication, coordination, detail oriented. **Location:** DPL Dahej
