Job description

- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality. - Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently. - Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage. - Provide guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) medications and healthcare products. - Monitor patients for potential drug interactions and contraindications. - Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation. - Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies. - Manage inventory, including stock ordering, receiving, storage, and expiry monitoring. - Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and technicians where applicable. - Handle controlled substances according to regulatory requirements. - Participate in health awareness programs, vaccination services, or health screenings, where authorized. - Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally. - Maintain cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality within the pharmacy.
