Job description

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality. • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently. • Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage. • Provide guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) medications and healthcare products. • Monitor patients for potential drug interactions and contraindications. • Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation. • Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies. • Manage inventory, including stock ordering, receiving, storage, and expiry monitoring. • Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and technicians where applicable. • Handle controlled substances according to regulatory requirements. • Participate in health awareness programs, vaccination services, or health screenings, where authorized. • Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally. • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and confidentiality within the pharmacy.
