Founded in 2014, Healthians is backed by prominent investors and has received multiple national awards for its work in e-retail and healthcare. **Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site Phlebotomist role based in India. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from individuals at their homes or designated collection centers, following strict safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols. Daily responsibilities include verifying patient identity, preparing collection materials, labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring timely dispatch to partner laboratories. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, explaining procedures in clear and respectful terms, and providing a reassuring, customer-focused experience. The Phlebotomist will collaborate with operations and lab teams to support smooth workflows and uphold Healthians’ standards for quality and reliability. **Qualifications** - Strong phlebotomy and specimen collection skills, including venipuncture and capillary sampling, with attention to safety and hygiene. - Knowledge of basic laboratory processes, sample handling, labeling, storage, and transportation protocols. - Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds in a professional and empathetic manner. - Ability to follow standardized procedures, adhere to quality and infection control guidelines, and maintain accurate documentation. - Good time management, reliability, and willingness to travel locally for home sample collection as required. - Relevant certification or diploma in phlebotomy, medical laboratory technology, or a related paramedical field. - Previous experience in diagnostics, hospitals, or healthcare settings is preferred but not mandatory. - Comfort with using mobile applications or digital tools to manage bookings, records, and reporting.
