Job Purpose Plan, execute, install, maintain & ensure high up time of all PCs, Laptops, Servers, Printers, Scanners, Video Conferencing equipment, LAN / WAN and installed software. Enforce compliance adherence w.r.t IT / Info security processes & policies. Job Context & Major Challenges Job Context: IT needs to provide and support infrastructure for effective information and communication systems. This position is required to support ever changing Information Technology and user expectations. Major Challenges • Managing high uptime of WAN link thru service provider for which dependency is with third party • Providing quick resolution & guiding engineer with minimum inputs from user w.r.t problem • Controlling unauthorised software installations • Induce user to adopt best IT practices & work in secured manner link KRA 1: IT Infrastructure Planning & Operations Management Supporting Actions: • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimum performance of IT infrastructure. • Ensure closure of IT service requests within agreed SLAs. • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain IT system availability. • Maintain and update the Information Asset Register. • Support physical verification of IT assets in coordination with Accounts. • Generate MIS reports and support budget preparation. • Assist in capacity planning and resource optimization. • Support cost control initiatives and WCM implementation activities. KRA 2: Hardware, Software, Network & Application Support Supporting Actions: • Monitor SCCM, antivirus status, network performance, and service calls on a daily basis. • Administer servers, databases, and business applications. • Ensure timely maintenance of in-house software and hardware systems. • Maintain 100% backup and restoration readiness for critical data. • Regularly update and maintain the local intranet portal. • Coordinate with AMC vendors to ensure maximum uptime of IT assets. • Ensure software license compliance and adherence to IT policies. • Monitor server health, event logs, vulnerabilities, and network performance. • Provide SAP Basis support and support Adityadisha, E-Learning, and other digital platforms. • Extend IT support to CSR activities, schools, recreation clubs, and officers' clubs. KRA 3: Information Security & Compliance Supporting Actions: • Support achievement of Green Level in Group Information Security Surveys. • Assist in ISO 27001 audit readiness and compliance activities. • Ensure effective implementation of information security controls and policies. • Record, track, and support closure of IT security incidents. • Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and security reviews. • Ensure adherence to backup and disaster recovery plans. • Create awareness among users regarding information security practices and compliance requirements. KRA 4: User Enablement & Skill Development Supporting Actions: • Conduct user training programs to improve IT system adoption and productivity. • Provide IT infrastructure and technical support for training sessions. • Assist users in publishing content on WSS, Intranet, Onstream, Adityadisha, and ULink. • Provide guidance and support to end users on IT applications and systems. • Identify self-learning opportunities and enhance technical competencies through training and certifications. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in IT operations and information security. \\*\\Relocation to Plant\\\\*
