Position Title : SH ER (CLM & IR) Qualification: MSW/MBA HR/MHRM or equivalent Job Purpose: To ensure uninterrupted manpower supply to meet production demand without any IR issues. overseeing outsourced workers from onboarding to offboarding using systems to track attendance, manage documents, verify payments to ensuring smooth operations while meeting all labor laws and company policies. Key Result Areas Supporting Actions Key Result Areas Supporting Actions Industrial Relations • Organise and Coordinating shopfloor programs like ER Dosti. Monitor and resolve grievances received during the visits • Organise regular contractor meetings and resolve any ongoing issues • Liason with Union, workmen, contractors and local people for collecting the feedback about their perception • Initiate disciplinary action on any workmen in violation of Standing Orders Act, Industrial Relation Act or any other such law • Providing inputs on labour/union activities to the Top Management • Resolve all minor issues at shopfloor level to enusre no disruption to production on account of IR issues Contractor Realignment & Manpower Rationalization • Ensure equitable distribution of manpower across sections based on operational demand. • Implement data-driven planning to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost control. Statutory & Contractor Compliance Management • Track contractor compliance with statutory and internal requirements to ensure zero non?compliance. • Conduct regular audits using standardized checklists and prepare MIS/MCR compliance reports. • Ensure timely closure of attendance, bill submissions, EPF/ESI challans, and ECR filings with ER department before statutory deadlines. MIS Reporting, Budgeting & Capex Planning • Prepare manpower and compliance MIS reports for periodic management review. • Track manpower-related costs and trends. • Prepare and submit proposals for manpower-related budgets and capital expenditure (Capex) in coordination with stakeholders. Overtime (OT) Control & Cost Reduction • Analyze departmental and sectional manpower strength on a continuous basis. • Monitor real-time working hours and immediately address excessive overtime requirements. • Implement prior approval mechanisms for OT deployment with proper justification. • Verify and submit OT slips to the concerned departments for approval and records.
