Product Development Engineer (R&D)

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Analyze and optimize mechanical, electrochemical, and financial parameters of battery products. - Develop and improve battery design, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Lead and coordinate new product development projects from concept to commercialization. - Drive product innovation based on customer application requirements and field feedback. - Perform warranty failure analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions. - Coordinate daily with manufacturing plants for trials, validations, and implementation. - Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF, risk assessment, and internal quality systems. - Prepare and maintain Product Information (PI), Manufacturing Specifications, Control Plans, Drawings, Material Lists, and technical documentation. - Conduct competitor benchmarking and technical analysis to identify improvement opportunities. - Support cross-functional teams in product validation, cost reduction, and technology transfer. **Preferred candidate profile** : New Product Development, Manufacturing, Validation, Quality Systems. **Product : HUPS, Solar, IUPS & E-Rickshaw (12V Tubular Batteries)**
