About the Job: We are looking for an experienced Project Architect with experience in Hospital Project to join our team at Manipal Hospitals! Location: Bangalore, Old Airport Road Roles and Responsibilities KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Handling start to end architectural and Interior design for all the new hospital and renovation projects. Getting the exact design intent from the owner / management and Co-ordinating with internal teams / Consultants to ensure execution is as per the signed off drawings and no changes allowed beyond 10% thereby meeting the design expectations. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES • Co-ordination with internal teams – Strategy, Branding, Purchase, Marketing, Operations to get the requirements, set the standards and incorporate and execution of works • Preparation of detailed design brief in consultation with all teams. • Getting the exact design intent from the owner / management and meet the design expectations. • Interacting with the Operations team and get the design Sign offs from the end users. • Preparing consultant RFQ’s for all the new projects. • To ensure design briefs are converted to workable drawings and explaining the same to all stakeholders. • Co-ordination and checking of designs and drawings for all project stages starting Concept Design, Design Development, Tendering, Working Drawing and Execution to completion Stage. • Co-ordination with the internal team members and in giving the required design information to enable the smooth flow of works • Co-ordination with consultants (Architects, Structural engineer, MEP consultants, artwork / graphic designers, vendors) in getting the deliverables on time • Review the designs received from the consultants to meet the accuracy and standards as per the brief shared. • Review the drawings (design, development, working drawings and all others) and documents shared by the consultants • Ensure the timely delivery of the design/drawings from concept, schematics, design development to construction drawing stage to enable the site team to carry out the works in a smooth way • Get project specifications and Budgets from the design consultants to enable the internal teams to carry the further process • Project budget optimization through Value engineering of design, innovative ideas and selection of materials. • Project Oversight during complete life cycle to ensure designs deviations are not happening at site. • Visits to various sites during various project phases and capturing the deviations if any.
