Job description

Key Responsibilities • Provide specialist consultation and management for patients with rheumatological and autoimmune disorders. • Independently assess patients, establish diagnoses and formulate appropriate treatment plans. • Manage both acute and chronic rheumatological conditions with evidence-based treatment. • Provide appropriate follow-up and continuity of care. • Participate in inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics and emergency services as assigned. • Coordinate care with Internal Medicine and other relevant specialties. • Ensure appropriate use of immunosuppressive and biologic therapies. • Monitor treatment response, adverse effects and disease-related complications. • Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, lifestyle modification and medication adherence. • Maintain professional and ethical standards in all clinical interactions. • Participate in departmental clinical meetings, audits and quality-improvement initiatives.
