About Position: We are looking for an experienced SDET Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, Playwright, Python, database validation, performance testing, and CI/CD practices. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks that ensure high-quality software delivery across enterprise applications. • Role: Senior .NET Developer • Location: Bengaluru & Hyderabad • Experience: 5 to 8 Years • Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and Python. • Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios. • Execute comprehensive test suites to validate application stability and functionality. • Perform database validation and backend testing using MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. • Design and execute API testing and service validation activities. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and automation best practices. • Perform performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define testing requirements and quality standards. • Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning activities. • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution. • Track test execution, defects, and quality metrics using Jira and TestRail. • Create and maintain test plans, automation documentation, and test reports. • Support production deployments and perform post-release validation testing. • Monitor test automation execution and continuously improve framework efficiency. • Ensure adherence to software quality standards and testing best practices. • Identify, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve quality issues across environments. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on test automation and engineering excellence. • Support Agile development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Expertise You'll Bring: • 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, or SDET roles. • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework. • Excellent knowledge of Python programming for automation development. • Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch. • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality engineering principles. • Experience with Database Testing using MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server. • Expertise in writing SQL queries for data validation and backend verification. • Hands-on experience with performance and load testing using JMeter. • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. • Strong knowledge of Jenkins and build automation processes. • Experience with Git and version control best practices. • Familiarity with Jira and TestRail for test management and defect tracking. • Knowledge of API testing and web service validation. • Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies. • Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities. • Ability to identify automation opportunities and improve testing efficiency. • Experience working with enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. • Commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
