About Position: As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data platforms and machine learning solutions on Azure while ensuring engineering best practices and operational excellence. • Role: Senior Machine Learning Engineer • Location: All Persistent Locations • Experience: 8 to 12 years • Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark. • Build and optimise data solutions on Azure Cloud services. • Develop robust and scalable applications using Python and object-oriented programming principles. • Implement and manage machine learning lifecycle workflows using MLflow. • Create efficient data models and perform complex querying using SQL. • Develop unit tests and automation frameworks using PyTest to ensure code quality and reliability. • Work on data ingestion, transformation, cleansing, and preprocessing for analytical and ML workloads. • Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Follow software engineering best practices including code reviews, version control, and documentation. • Implement deployment and release processes using CI/CD methodologies. • Troubleshoot and optimise data pipelines and machine learning workflows for performance and scalability. • Contribute to architecture discussions and drive technical excellence across projects. Expertise You'll Bring: • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or related domains. • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Cloud Services. • Strong expertise in PySpark for distributed data processing. • Advanced programming skills in Python. • Experience with MLflow for experiment tracking, model management, and deployment. • Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts. • Experience with PyTest and automated testing frameworks. • Strong understanding of Software Engineering Fundamentals, design patterns, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. • Solid understanding of Machine Learning Fundamentals, including: • Supervised and Unsupervised Learning Algorithms • Feature Engineering Techniques • Model Evaluation and Validation Methods • Experience with MLOps practices and model deployment strategies. • Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools. • Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
