Security Head

Job description

**We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Security function at our plant location. The role involves overseeing end-to-end security operations, ensuring asset protection, regulatory compliance, and implementing robust security systems and processes across the site.** Role & responsibilities - **Lead and manage overall plant security operations including manpower deployment and supervision** - **Develop and implement security policies, SOPs, and risk mitigation strategies** - **Ensure protection of company assets, employees, and premises** - **Liaise with local law enforcement authorities and government agencies** - **Monitor access control systems, surveillance, and emergency response mechanisms** - **Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations** - **Drive compliance with statutory and organizational security standards** - **Manage contract security workforce and vendor performance** - **Implement technology-driven security solutions (CCTV, access control, etc.)** - **Ensure readiness for emergencies, crisis situations, and disaster management** Preferred candidate profile - **Ex-serviceman from** Defence / Paramilitary / Police (preferably at senior ranks such as Colonel / Commandant / SP level) - **Proven experience in** industrial/plant security management **in large manufacturing setups** - **Strong expertise in** risk assessment, crisis management, and incident investigation - **Hands-on experience in** managing large security teams and contractor workforce - **Excellent** liaisoning skills with local administration, police, and regulatory authorities - **Exposure to** modern security systems **such as CCTV surveillance, access control, intrusion detection systems** - **Demonstrated ability to** develop and implement SOPs, audits, and compliance frameworks - **High level of** integrity, vigilance, and decision-making ability under pressure - **Good** communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills - **Willingness to work in a** remote industrial location
