Job Title: Security & Vigilance Officer Location: Pulwama , Jammu and Kashmir Experience: 13 to 18 years in Industrial Security and Vigilance Operations Age: 35 to 40 years Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive Security & Vigilance Officer to oversee and manage comprehensive security and vigilance operations at our industrial facility. The ideal candidate will strengthen both physical and digital security measures, conduct thorough vigilance checks, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and promote a culture of integrity and accountability throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement robust security and vigilance strategies across the plant, offices, and logistics areas. • Conduct surprise inspections, audits, and investigations to detect irregularities, pilferage, or violations of security protocols. • Monitor CCTV systems, manage perimeter security, oversee GPS tracking, and supervise visitor management systems to maintain high surveillance standards. • Perform risk assessments, control material flow, and coordinate procurement of security infrastructure such as fencing and monitoring equipment. • Promote a culture of vigilance, safety, and accountability among employees, drivers, and support staff. • Lead and support the security team, ensuring their training and awareness on security measures and safety practices. Key Skills • Vigilance audits, inspections, and investigations • Industrial security operations and risk management • Proficient in CCTV surveillance and digital security monitoring • Material control and loss prevention techniques • Experience with GPS tracking and visitor management software Qualifications & Experience • Graduate (mandatory) • Ex-Servicemen (EX-Army, Short Service Commissioned Officers, Defence personnel) only. • 4 to 9 years of relevant experience in industrial security and vigilance, preferably in iron & steel or heavy manufacturing sectors Additional Role Requirements • Strengthen security infrastructure and mitigate potential risks to ensure safety of personnel and assets. • Manage timely procurement and installation of security tools including CCTV and fencing. • Foster strong coordination with security personnel, drivers, and staff to uphold a disciplined and safe work environment. • Implement and oversee digital security systems, including GPS tracking and visitor management platforms, ensuring effective incident reporting and response.
