Key Responsibilities: 1. Architectural Planning & Design • Lead conceptualization, master planning, and detailed design of hospital and healthcare facilities. • Ensure functional planning as per NABH/JCI/Local statutory healthcare guidelines. • Optimize patient flow, infection control zoning, OT planning, ICU layouts, and clinical adjacencies. • Review and approve drawings (concept, schematic, GFC, MEP coordination). 2. Project Management • Oversee architectural execution from design to handover. • Coordinate with MEP consultants, structural engineers, medical planners, and contractors. • Monitor timelines, quality standards, and budget adherence. • Conduct site visits and ensure compliance with approved designs. 3. Regulatory & Compliance • Ensure adherence to local building codes, fire safety norms, biomedical waste regulations, and hospital accreditation standards. • Liaise with government authorities for approvals and permits. 4. Stakeholder Coordination • Work closely with clinicians, hospital administrators, and biomedical teams for requirement gathering. • Present design concepts and progress updates to leadership. • Manage external architects and design consultants. 5. Quality & Innovation • Implement best practices in healthcare architecture. • Introduce sustainable design concepts (green buildings, energy efficiency). • Ensure patient-centric and future-ready hospital infrastructure. Qualifications: • Bachelors / Masters Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch). • Registered with Council of Architecture (CoA). • Additional certification in Healthcare Planning (preferred). Experience Required: • 18 to 20+ years of experience in architectural design. • Minimum 5+ years in hospital / healthcare infrastructure projects. • Experience in multi-specialty hospital projects (200+ beds preferred). • Strong exposure to NABH/JCI compliant hospital planning.
