Cloud Administrator Job Description: As Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and managing our cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will be an individual contributor and will: • Implement and maintain cloud security protocols and best practices. • Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, scalability, and security. • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues as they arise. • Support development and operations teams in deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications and services. • Assist in the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP. At least proficient in one platform. • Utilize automation tools and scripting to streamline cloud operations. • Carry out Cloud FinOps related activities • Participate in regular cloud environment reviews and audits. • Keep abreast of the latest cloud technologies and best practices. • Collaborate with senior cloud administrators and other team members. Required Experience, Skills & Competencies: • Should have 6+ years of experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting the Linux and Windows operating system, Internet-based applications, and web servers including of which at least 4+ years of experience in cloud administration, specifically with AWS and Azure, GCP is optional. • Familiarity with cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, SQL, Google Compute Engine, Google Cloud Storage, etc. • Basic knowledge of cloud automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash). • Hands on experience in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Hands on experience in networking including VPC, VPN, VNET, DNS, and load balancer. • Experience with hybrid cloud environments. • Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. • Knowledge of database management and cloud-based data solutions. • Exposure to cloud cost management and optimization strategies. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus. Good to Have • Basic working knowledge of SaaS collaboration and productivity platforms such as GitLab (version control, CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking). • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Gemini for productivity, documentation, or engineering workflows — considered an add-on advantage. • Basic exposure to design/collaboration tools such as Figma — considered an add-on advantage. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Certified – Associate Cloud Engineer. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
