Job Description Senior SCADA Engineer – Ignition Platform Location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune Experience: 6–9 years (including 4+ years in Ignition SCADA) Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SCADA Engineer with deep expertise in the Ignition platform to lead architecture, development, and platform engineering initiatives. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive scalable SCADA solutions, mentor teams, and ensure robust, production-grade implementations across industrial environments. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of SCADA solutions using the Ignition platform. • Build and optimize applications using Ignition modules (Vision, Perspective) with focus on scalability, performance, and security. • Define and implement robust gateway architectures, tag structures, UDTs, and scripting standards. • Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs and industrial systems using OPC UA, MQTT/Sparkplug B, Kepware, and standard protocols. • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams. • Design and implement backend and full-stack solutions using Python/Java and API integrations. Ideal Candidate Profile • 6–9 years of total experience with at least 4+ years of hands-on work in Ignition SCADA. • Deep expertise in Ignition (Vision, Perspective, gateway architecture, scripting, security, performance tuning). • Strong industrial automation knowledge including PLC concepts, ISA 88/95 standards, OPC UA, MQTT, and Kepware. • Full-stack development experience with Python/Java and API-driven architectures.
