Job Summary Group Company: Galaxy Surfactants Limited (GSL) Designation: Instrumentation Engineer Office Location: Taloja Experience Required- 5-7 Years Position description: Ensure allotted section of plants equipments available for production safely in predictable way at intended performance at optimum cost and do improvement to increase the productivity conforming to rule and regulations prevailed in the country Responsibilities • Safety Statutory Compliance • 100% Statutory Compliance at work places in terms of safety , health Environment and Operations • Follow safety cultures • Ensure zero incident in working area including contractors • Carry out all maintenance activities as per the rule regulations of company • Profitability and Competitiveness • Achieve zero breakdowns through implementation of PM schedules • Carry out maintenance activities systematically and eliminate the loss • Eliminate the repeat works and ensure RTFT • Sugest and Improve the MTTR MTBF • Implement all improvement theme RTFT • Report the abnormality immediately. • Do the shift activities perfectly and report to seniors • Quality System Procedure • Record all activities as per quality system like ISO 9001:2015 • Team Building • To deliver the Maintenance performance in terms of quality, safety, health and environment. • To ensure safety practices are being followed by technicians while carrying out maintenance jobs • To Train technicians in safe operating procedures • To ensure practices as per GMP, GHK, factory hygiene and safety at work place and surroundings. • Behaviour Competencies- • Follow basic values of our company • No absenteeism • Ability to train, learn and share knowledge • Functional • 1) To ensure installation / maintenance / calibration of all pressure / temperature / level / flow / pH / weigh scale, control valves, on/off valves, bagging system checking of interlocks, checking fire gas system. • 2) Troubleshooting for all process field instruments. Editing in existing DCS (EMERSON)/PLC (ROCKWELL) program as per approved requirement. • 3) To prepare estimation of project. • 4) To prepare the basic design documents IO List, specification sheet, Instrument index sheet, Cause effect drawings etc. • 5) Detailing of project, to review design of instruments, to ensure/review GA drawings, quality certificates, calculations of instruments. • 6) Procurement support, Erection, commissioning support for process instruments like pressure transmitters/switches, Temperature transmitters/switches, level transmitters/switches, flow transmitters/switches, pH meter, dew point, weigh scale, control valves, on/off valves, safety valves, pressure control valves, rupture disk control systems (ESD BPCS). • 7) Preparation/review of instrumentation loop diagram, interconnection diagram, JB schedule. Vendor drawing review and coordinating with vendors/clients. • 8) To create maintenance orders ensure closing in SAP. • 9) generating /closing maintenance orders, generating purchase requisitions, closing service orders in SAP • 10) To maintain QUALITY SYSTEM ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2015/ /ISO documents/procedures. • Relationship- • Maintain healthy relationship with Internal customers like NPT Team, QA team, Sub-processes, other maintenance sections etc. Disclaimer: This job posting and Location has been aggregated from external source.
