Job Summary Scale-up of Processes from Laboratory scale to Pilotscale to Plant scale. Generate data from various stages and Create EngineeringStandards and Documents. Assist Execution Cell in Design and Commissioning of commercialplants. Primary Responsibilities • Participate andconduct various trials in laboratories, study and establish the processes. • Implement Chemical Engineering principles in evaluation of various processes. • CreateEngineering standards, documents and perform technical calculations for theProjects. • Creative ideas todevelopment new technologies for the new product scaleup, expansion projectsand process intensification. • Develop in-depthinsights about the Chemical Process, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineeringand Scale-up of Processes from Lab to pilot to commercial scale. • Implementprinciples of Process Safety during Scale-up including preparation ofPIDs, PHA, Education Training procedures. • Prepare Processdata sheets and Design Qualification sheets for various process equipmentincluding line sizing, Material and Energy Balance. • Involve and workcollaboratively with subject experts internally and externally. • This may requiretravelling to other plants i.e. Laboratory, Pilot plant and other plants fortrials and observations. Required Competencies • Strong ChemicalEngineering knowledge and application is required. • Good experience inProcess Design, Scaleup and Technology Development and transfer. • Conceptual thinkingand Creativity. • Patience and Perseverance. • Drive for Results. • People Management and Influence. • Knowledge of MS Projects (MSP) and Project Managementwill be preferred. • Knowledge aboutCFD simulations, modelling can be an added advantage.
