Job Description \\*Strong software engineering fundamentals (distributed systems, APIs, data modeling) \\* Experience building scalable backend systems in languages like Java, Go, or similar \\* Familiarity with data platforms (e.g., Kafka, Spark, data lakes, warehouses) \\* Experience with access control models (RBAC/ABAC) and security best practices \\* Understanding of metadata, data lineage, or data governance concepts (or strong interest in the space) \\* Experience building automation and platform capabilities (not just one-off pipelines) \\* Comfortable working across systems and driving cross-platform integrations \\* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and usability \\* Effective collaborator who can translate business and compliance needs into technical solutions Roles & Responsibilities \\*Design and build services for metadata management, data classification, and lineage \\* Develop policy-as-code frameworks for automated, fine-grained data access control \\* Enable data discovery and enrichment through standardized metadata and ownership \\* Build integrations across data platforms (e.g., streaming, warehouses, data lakes) to ensure end-to-end visibility and governance \\* Implement automated workflows for data access, auditability, and compliance \\* Integrate data quality and observability signals into governance systems \\* Improve developer and user experience through APIs and self-service capabilities \\* Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and production-ready, including on-call support \\* Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to deliver governed, compliant data solutions
