Role Title Software Engg. ServiceNow Developer - TPRM & GRM/GRC Modules Department Information Technology Sub Department IT Compliance / Governance, Risk & Compliance 1. JOB PURPOSE (Summarize in one statement why the job exists; and how it contributes to the overall objective of the company) To design, develop, configure and support ServiceNow TPRM and GRM/GRC module requirements, including custom application development, integrations, workflow automation, reporting and production support, while ensuring secure, scalable and compliant platform delivery. 2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job) - Develop and configure ServiceNow TPRM and GRM/GRC module features under guidance based on approved functional and technical requirements. - Build and enhance workflows, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, notifications, scheduled jobs and basic data models as required. - Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, import sets, transform maps and other approved integration methods as per technical design. - Use Java development experience to understand application logic, APIs, integration patterns, debugging, reusable coding practices and technical problem solving. - Work with functional and technical teams to convert user stories into configuration/development tasks, unit testing evidence and deployment support items. - Support SIT/UAT, defect fixing, production issue analysis, release validation and post-go-live support for ServiceNow compliance and risk workflows. - Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, unit test evidence and deployment notes for ServiceNow platform changes. - Follow coding standards, security guidelines, role-based access control, audit trail requirements and change management processes. 1. INTERACTIONS (Key working relationships a job holder needs to have INSIDE and OUTSIDE the company to accomplish the job) Internal Clients Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work IT Compliance, ServiceNow Platform Team, GRC/TPRM Functional Team, Enterprise Risk, Internal Audit, Infosec, Business Process Owners, Testing/UAT Teams, Release Management and Production Support Teams. External Clients Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work ServiceNow implementation partners, platform support vendors, integration vendors and third-party application teams involved in ServiceNow integration or risk/compliance workflows. Other Dimensions (Significant volume dimensions associated with the job) - Role grade: GB03/GB04; relevant experience: 3-5 years; primary scope includes ServiceNow TPRM and GRM/GRC module configuration, development support, unit testing, defect fixing and production support. - Expected to handle assigned user stories, enhancements, defects, UAT support items, documentation and release support activities in parallel. 2. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (Minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent) Educational Qualifications Educational Qualifications Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent. ServiceNow CSA certification will be preferred; CAD or CIS-GRC/IRM exposure will be an added advantage. Experience 4-6 years of total IT experience with hands-on development/configuration experience in ServiceNow or related enterprise workflow platforms. Exposure to ServiceNow TPRM, GRM/GRC, IRM, risk, compliance, audit or vendor risk processes will be preferred. Core Functional / Technical Skills ServiceNow scripting, Java development experience, JavaScript, basic Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Workflow, ACLs, notifications, scheduled jobs and debugging. Additional Skills REST/SOAP API concepts, JSON/XML, import sets, transform maps, data loads, reports and dashboards. MID Server understanding will be an added advantage. Behavioral Competencies Basic understanding of third-party risk management, governance/risk/compliance workflows, control testing, issue management, policy compliance, audit process and IT compliance controls.
