The company markets its products under its two global brands – Apollo and Vredestein, and its products are available in over 100 countries through a vast network of branded, exclusive and multi-product outlets. **Job Title**: Simulation Manager **Location**: Chennai R&D **Reports to (Position)**: **Department/Function**: **Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line)**: 3 **Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line)**: 0 **Number of Outsourced Reports**: 0 **Purpose of the Job**: The Simulation Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing simulation activities to support product development, optimization, and innovation processes. This role provides critical virtual validation and performance insights for new designs, concepts, and product improvements before physical testing. By enabling data-driven decision-making early in the development cycle, the role directly affects product quality, development cost, and time-to-market. **Major Responsibilities**: 1. Define and implement simulation methodologies, workflows, and best practices. Stay updated with technological advancements and ensure their integration into simulation processes to enhance virtual validation capability. 2. Plan, allocate, and oversee simulation projects across product lines. Ensure timely delivery of accurate, validated simulation results to support R&D, product engineering, and manufacturing teams. Prioritize tasks and manage simulation workload within available resources. 3. Work closely with other R&D functions to gather requirements, provide insights, and recommend design improvements based on simulation outcomes. 4. Mentor and train simulation engineers and junior staff on tools, methodologies, and technical skills. Promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. **Skills**: 1.
