**Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions** (SMR) is a business area of the Sandvik Group and a leading supplier of equipment and tools, services, support and technical solutions for the mining industry and specialist sectors such as quarrying, tunnelling, demolition, dimensional stone, recycling and the civil engineering industry. SMRT's offering covers drilling, mechanical cutting, loading and hauling, demolition and recycling, and various solutions to increase automation. We are looking for a dynamic and an energetic **Site In-Charge.** This position will be based at **Keonjhar, Odissa.** **Your responsibilities** - Experience in working with operation and maintenance team for surface metal mining project. - Experience of working with hydraulic Surface Drill – Top hammer & DTH drills. Make Sandvik, Epiroc & similar OEM. - Experience in working in Surface Mining for minimum 3 years is mandatory for selection for interview. - Drilling Equipment metal mines application includes Top Hammer & Down-The-Hole Drilling. - In depth knowledge of general servicing and major overhauling of drills/ major components. - Proficient in effective maintenance practice of the machine to demonstrate machine performance with desired availability. - Ability to drive and conduct performance test of Drill Equipment. - Experience of leading a team of minimum to maximum of service engineers. - Actively collaborate with customer site team and achieve high level of productivity. - Experience of Planning, scheduling & execution of several Maintenance practices/ tasks. Parts forecasting and ensuring availability to execute maintenance activities in a timely manner. - Excellent Customer Service and Stakeholder Management skills are a must. Foster Sandvik culture for building long terms customer relationships by resolving inquiries, guide service team to deliver industry standard services, and take initiatives to enhance customer experience. - Actively contribute towards growth of business revenue by achieving set targets & KPI, individual & contract specific. - Monitor & manage costs effectively to ensure profitability. - People management skills, soft skills, computer knowledge, reports & data analysis (equipment performance), good knowledge MS office tools, technical training to internal team members & customer as well. - Experience in working with operation and maintenance team for surface metal mining project. - Experience of working with hydraulic Surface Drill – Top hammer & DTH drills. Parts forecasting and ensuring availability to execute maintenance activities in a timely manner. **Required Skills and Qualifications** - Sandvik Safety & Environment Policy’s, Systems and Programs are understood and communicated to all people working at site and safe operating conditions are maintained at site. - Systems of work, which encompass Personnel Safety and Environmental diligence, are implemented using all relevant Sandvik Procedures, Work Instructions and Risk Assessment methods as appropriate. - Relevant legal EHS legislation is complied. - Site specific EHS plan is implements and site EHS KPIs are achieved - Managing all resources in the site to ensure an optimum balance between customer service satisfaction, and attainment of financial objectives. - Ensure timely and appropriate training and development program for site employees - B.E/Diploma with 8+ years of experience. **What We offer** Sandvik offers a competitive total compensation package including comprehensive benefits.
