Role & responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake database solutions. • Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data models to support business requirements. • Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. • Implement and maintain data security, governance, and role-based access controls (RBAC). • Collaborate with business, analytics, and AI teams to gather and understand data requirements. • Enable AI and Generative AI initiatives by delivering clean, reliable, and well-structured data. • Participate in solution design, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support activities. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across Snowflake data platforms. • Follow best practices for Snowflake development, performance tuning, and database optimization. • Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions. Preferred candidate profile • 5 to 7 years of experience in Snowflake development and data warehousing. • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and SQL development. • Experience with Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Cloning, Data Sharing, Streams, Tasks, and RBAC. • Good understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). • Understanding of how enterprise data supports AI/ML solutions. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Snowflake Certification and AI Certification are preferred. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Ability to collaborate effectively with business, analytics, and AI teams. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
