Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake database solutions. - Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data models to support business requirements. - Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. - Implement and maintain data security, governance, and role-based access controls (RBAC). - Collaborate with business, analytics, and AI teams to gather and understand data requirements. - Enable AI and Generative AI initiatives by delivering clean, reliable, and well-structured data. - Participate in solution design, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support activities. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across Snowflake data platforms. - Follow best practices for Snowflake development, performance tuning, and database optimization. - Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality solutions. **Preferred candidate profile** - 5 to 7 years of experience in Snowflake development and data warehousing. - Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud and SQL development. - Experience with Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Cloning, Data Sharing, Streams, Tasks, and RBAC. - Good understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). - Understanding of how enterprise data supports AI/ML solutions. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Snowflake Certification and AI Certification are preferred. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Ability to collaborate effectively with business, analytics, and AI teams. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
