**Job Description (Lead Solar MIS & Performance Engineer)** **Purpose** The purpose of this role is to monitor, analyze, and optimize solar plant performance, ensuring accurate reporting and operational efficiency. **Organization Chart** **Position Reports to**:Solar O&M Head **Location**: **Navi** **Mumbai** **Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)** - Daily Performance Monitoring - Monitor PV systems including modules, inverters, transformers, and critical equipment. - Review real-time data in CMS and CMMS systems. - Identify deviations in expected energy output. - Data Analysis & Reporting - Analyze historical and real-time performance data. - Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports. - Interpret PR, CUF, Availability, and recommend improvements. - Deficiency Identification & Troubleshooting - Identify inefficiencies and operational gaps. - Diagnose panel underperformance, inverter failures, shading, etc. - Communicate issues to O&M teams. - Corrective Action & Problem Resolution - Work with O&M and vendors on root cause analysis. - Recommend corrective actions: recalibration, maintenance, optimizations. - Track closure and document resolutions. - System Optimization - Recommend plant efficiency improvements. - Suggest inverter settings, cleaning cycles, technology upgrades. - Maintenance Planning & Coordination - Assist in preventive/corrective maintenance schedules. - Prioritize critical maintenance tasks. - Coordinate with contractors. - Communication & Collaboration - Act as main contact for performance issues. - Support decision-making with data insights. - Provide technical inputs for expansions and upgrades. IV Curve & Drone base analysis of plant performance. Analyze the underperformance and suggest corrective actions. **Educational Background and Work Experience** **Educational Background:** - B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Diploma in Electrical Engg **Work Experience:** - 5-10 years in MIS, performance monitoring, reporting, and digitalization in solar **Skills & Competencies** - Experience in MIS, reporting, digitalization. - Advanced Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word - Pvsyst - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Experience with SCADA, CMS, CMMS systems - Good communication and crossfunctional coordination **Working Relationships - Stakeholders** **Internal:** - O&M team, Technical team, Analytics, Management **External:** - Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers
