About you and this role: As a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Solution Specialist based in Mumbai your position is crucial for supporting Finance as we continue to expand and innovate the automation of financial work processes, leveraging both artificial intelligence and citizen development tools. In this role, you'll work closely with finance functional owners to lead the design, development, and testing of complex RPA solutions, ensuring they align with enterprise best practices. One of your key responsibilities will be supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the existing RPA portfolio within Finance, which means you'll play a vital part in ensuring stability, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining strong governance standards. Collaboration is at the heart of this position; you'll partner with business operations and business analysts to develop, streamline, and enhance workflow processes. Your initiatives will cover solution design, project coordination, testing, and issue resolution, all aimed at improving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze and translate business requirements for RPA opportunities, as well as other digital‑innovation areas such as artificial intelligence and citizen‑development solutions. • Design and deliver end‑to‑end automation solutions using UiPath and other approved enterprise technologies, ensuring solutions meet business needs and adhere to established development and governance standards. • Collaborate with Finance robotics analysts to review, refine, and validate solution designs based on documented requirements and process insights. • Develop comprehensive requirements and design documentation to support long‑term sustainability, maintainability, and scalability of automated solutions. • Partner closely with business process teams, global functional groups, and key stakeholders to design, build, test, and implement RPA projects that drive process efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a major in Data and Analytics, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or 7 years of related job experience. • A minimum of 5 years of software development experience.(RPA) • Familiarity with other robotics progress technologies (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or others) • General knowledge of Information technology work process, methodologies, and tools with a passion to learn modern technologies like AI and other citizen development tools within the Microsoft tool suite. (Including Agile and Scrum) • Strong English communication skills to engage with customers regarding technical issues and scenarios, while effectively translating business context into technical language. • Project experience in design & development particularly in the robotics process space is a plus. Your Skills & Abilities • Hands‑on experience with UiPath and a strong understanding of robotic process automation concepts, development practices, and best‑practice design principles. • General knowledge of software development and solution‑design methodologies, including familiarity with agile development approaches. • Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP BW, with the ability to navigate key finance‑related processes and data structures. • Exposure to artificial intelligence concepts and emerging digital‑innovation tools, with an interest in applying AI to enhance automation solutions. • Familiarity with citizen‑development tools, such as Microsoft Power Platform and Alteryx, that support workflow automation and data transformation. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, and global stakeholders.
