Sr Engineer /Assistant Manager Commodity

Job description

This role will be responsible for managing & developing the Investment castings & machining Stamping commodities for MSOL India and globally sites. The job scope includes setting commodity strategies; collaborate with global Supplier base on Quality, Speed, Cost and Risks mitigation to support factories' book-build-ship/ customers' demand requirements. This includes regional supplier sourcing, development, contracting, DPO & cost negotiations. The role requires alignment with key Design, Operations stakeholders, and the Global Commodity team in terms of purchasing & risk mitigation strategies, policies, and tactics to achieve objective. Key objectives are to add value to the company through managing risks, cost, speed & performance aspects of our global suppliers.
