Qualification : Mechanical Engineer or Graduate/Postgraduate in relevant discipline or MBA in Supply Chain Experience : 4 to 6 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain operations in a manufacturing environment Shift : 2 pm to 11 pm (2PM ~ 7PM at Mundhwa office, continue to support from home till 11PM) Job Purpose & Role : This role will function as the central planning lead and control tower supporting multiple manufacturing plants in the US from the Global Shared Services setup in India. The individual will own production planning, capacity planning, and material flow across the value chain, ensuring schedule adherence, uninterrupted operations, and optimal inventory levels. This is a hands-on execution role requiring strong grounding in manufacturing environment (preferably forging, machining and related processes), with the ability to manage planning complexity across multiple plants, align stakeholders, and drive disciplined execution. Key Deliverables : • High adherence to production schedules across plants • Zero production loss due to material shortages • Improved capacity utilization and reduced firefighting • Controlled inventory across RM, WIP and FG with reduced ageing • Strong visibility of plan vs actual with actionable recovery plans • Improved on-time delivery performance Key Activities & Expectations : Production Planning & Capacity Control • Own monthly, weekly and daily production planning and scheduling aligned to demand and plant capacity • Develop machine-wise loading plans and identify capacity gaps and bottlenecks MRP & Material Planning • Own MRP cycles including schedule upload, run and release discipline • Release production orders, PRs and material triggers in line with planning cycles Material Flow & Inventory Control • Control stage-wise inventory across RM, forging, machining, heat treatment and FG • Ensure planned coverage of RM, WIP and supplier stock to avoid shortages Plan Adherence & Recovery • Track plan vs actual across production, supply and sales on a daily and weekly basis • Monitor stage-wise stock and production flow to prevent disruption at downstream processes Technical Skills Required : • Hands-on experience with SAP MM/PP/HANA or similar ERP systems with excellent advanced data analytics and spreadsheet skills
