The role is responsible for achieving business targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining compliance with company standards and statutory requirements. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Business Strategy & Store Operations • Achieve revenue, gross margin, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets. • Drive overall store profitability and operational efficiency. • Ensure 100% implementation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Monitor and control inventory levels and minimize shrinkage. • Ensure compliance with Mock Shop guidelines and statutory requirements. • Track market trends and competitor activities to improve business performance. • Lead and manage store teams to achieve operational excellence. 2. Financial Planning & Budget Management • Deliver Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Gross Margin, and Sales Per Square Foot (SPSF) targets. • Improve profitability by increasing margins and optimizing operating expenses. • Control inventory losses and shrinkage. • Increase Average Transaction Value (ATV) and customer spend. • Monitor financial performance through regular business reviews and action plans. 3. People Management • Build, develop, and lead high-performing store teams. • Manage employee performance and control attrition. • Optimize manpower planning across departments. • Conduct functional and behavioral training programs. • Enhance product knowledge and brand differentiation among associates. • Keep teams updated on new products, merchandising standards, presentation techniques, and selling skills. 4. Policies, Processes & Compliance • Ensure complete implementation and adherence to SOPs across all departments. • Drive key operational KPIs including Available to Ship (ATS) and Conversion. • Review Mystery Shopping findings and implement corrective actions. • Maintain statutory, safety, and operational compliance. • Ensure process discipline and continuous operational improvements.
