**Job Title:** Stores Manager **Function:** Stores / Supply Chain / Logistics **Location:** Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai **Reporting To:** Stores InCharge / Store Officer / Supply Chain Manager **Job Purpose** To support effective management of site stores by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of materials in line with Tata Projects processes, ERP requirements, and project timelines. **Key Roles & Responsibilities** - Receive materials at site, verify quantity and quality against **PO, challans, and delivery notes**. - Ensure proper unloading, stacking, labeling, and storage of materials as per site/store norms. - Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and ERP entries (SAP/other systems). - Issue materials to site teams against authorized indent/slip and maintain proper documentation. - Conduct **periodic physical stock verification** and assist in reconciliation of variances. - Coordinate with procurement, planning, and execution teams for material availability and movement. - Ensure FIFO principles, material preservation, and housekeeping standards are followed. - Support return, rejection, and transfer of surplus or nonconforming materials. - Adhere to **safety, security, and compliance requirements** within the store premises. - Assist seniors during audits, inspections, and MIS reporting. **Key Skills & Competencies** - Working knowledge of **stores operations and inventory control** - Basic understanding of **supply chain and logistics processes** - Experience in SAP MM - Documentation and recordkeeping skills - Coordination and communication skills - Attention to detail and compliance orientation **Qualification & Experience** - **Qualification:** Any Graduate - **Experience:** 8 to 16 years of experience in site stores / supply chain roles - **Industry Exposure:** Construction / EPC / Infrastructure / Industrial Projects preferred **Additional Requirements** - Comfort with sitebased and timebound operations - Ability to work in shifts, if required
