**Job Title: StrategyOne BRE Developer** Location: Bangalore Department: IT Risk & Lending Technologies Employment Type: Full-Time **Position Summary** We are seeking a skilled and analytical StrategyOne BRE Developer to join our Core Lending & Risk Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design,development, implementation, and maintenance of business rules, credit scoring models, and underwriting workflows using the CRIF StrategyOne decisioning platform. You will bridge the gap between business risk policies and technical executiontranslating complex credit, compliance, and eligibility requirements into fully automated, real-time decision-making systems integrated with our Loan Origination System (LOS). **Key Responsibilities** 1. Rule Development & Configuration - Design, configure, and maintain business rules, decision tables, matrices, and workflows within the CRIF StrategyOne environment. - Implement complex credit policy rules, scoring algorithms, eligibility criteria, and risk tiers. - Optimize decision-making logic to ensure lightning-fast processing for real-time customer onboarding and underwriting. 2. Integration & Collaboration - Collaborate closely with Risk, Credit Policy, Compliance, and Operations teams to gather and translate business requirements into accurate technical specifications. - Coordinate with core IT and engineering teams to integrate StrategyOne APIs with the internal Loan Origination System (LOS) (e.g., Credit Bureaus, KYC providers). - Ensure data payload mappings between system APIs and StrategyOne data structures are seamless and robust. 3. Testing, Simulation & Optimization - Conduct thorough unit testing, component testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee rule logic accuracy. - Troubleshoot execution exceptions and debug rule processing logic in production and lower environments. 4. Lifecycle & Change Management - Manage rule configuration versioning, documentation, and promotion across environments (Dev, UAT, Production) ensuring zero downtime. - Conduct impact analysis for any proposed regulatory or strategy changes to mitigate risks before live deployments. **Qualifications & Skills** Technical Requirements - Core Platform Expertise: 25+ years of hands-on experience developing within CRIF StrategyOne (Business Rules Engine / Decision Engine). - Integration Protocols: Solid understanding of Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML schemas. - Alternative BRE Knowledge (Plus): Exposure to other BRE tools is a strong advantage. **Domain Knowledge** - Strong working knowledge of Retail/Commercial Lending, Credit Underwriting processes, Credit Scoring Models, and Risk Management frameworks. - Understanding of fintech/banking compliance requirements **Soft Skills** - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structural logic skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical complexities to non-technical business stakeholders. **Education & Experience** - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of dedicated software development experience, with at least 2 years focused specifically on decision engine automation or BRE tools.
