Omega Healthcare Management Services Private Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Team Lead - Medical Reviewer to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical review expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring quality, productivity, and compliance with client requirements. Candidates with experience in team handling and medical coding who are interested in transitioning to a Medical Reviewer role are also encouraged to apply. Roles & Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of Medical Reviewers to ensure timely and accurate completion of medical review activities. • Conduct detailed reviews of patient records, medical documents, and clinical reports to ensure quality and compliance. • Monitor team performance, productivity, quality metrics, and service level agreements (SLAs). • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members to enhance their technical knowledge and performance. • Analyze medical data and review outcomes to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and healthcare professionals to resolve complex medical review cases. • Ensure adherence to medical guidelines, regulatory requirements, client protocols, and company policies. • Conduct regular quality audits and provide constructive feedback to maintain high accuracy standards. • Prepare and share performance reports, quality insights, and operational updates with management. • Support training, onboarding, and skill development initiatives for new and existing team members. • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and patient care outcomes. • Handle escalations and ensure effective resolution of complex medical review issues. Job Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or other relevant healthcare disciplines. • Minimum experience as a Senior Medical Reviewer with demonstrated leadership or team handling exposure. • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, disease conditions, and treatment protocols. • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Proven experience in quality management, process improvement, and team coaching. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Good understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and healthcare-related review tools. • Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills. Preferred Skills • Experience in Oncology, Clinical Review, Medical Coding, Utilization Review, or related healthcare domains. • Prior experience leading a team in a healthcare BPO/KPO environment. • Knowledge of quality frameworks, audit processes, and performance management.
