**Job Title** Security Officer Location: Pulwama **Department** Security and Vigilance **Grade** Manager / Sr. Manager **Reports To** Head HR **Employment Type** Full-time **Purpose - Why does this role exist?** - We are looking for a committed and professional security officer to join our team and maintain a safe and secure environment. In this role, you will security of the co employees, Plant and monitor surveillance systems, and respond promptly to security incidents. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a proactive approach, and a passion for creating a safe space for all, we would love to hear from you. **Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)** - Manage administration, security, and public relations functions effectively. - Ensure security of goods, equipment, and high-value assets; implement counter-strategies against sabotage, theft, fraud, and forgery by regularly reviewing security procedures. - Enforce strict compliance with company security protocols. - Oversee safe custody, maintenance, and record-keeping of issued and deposited items. Manage secure entry/exit of personnel and vehicles at large industrial sites. Liaise with local authorities such as Police and Fire departments. - Ensure timely dispatch of production goods and maintain tight control over logistics, including fitness of trucks, trucks, drivers, and vigilance against pilferage or unauthorized scrap disposal. - Take overall responsibility for security duties, including strategic development, performance, and maintenance of security operations. - Lead and manage the security team to perform all security-related duties efficiently. - Contribute to training and development of the security team. - Oversee general administrative activities such as transport and housekeeping; implement facilities management policies effectively. - Prepare monthly reports on security and administrative activities. - Identify and review transport issues; conduct route mapping, surveys, and develop alternative transport models during events causing road closures. - Supervise and control housekeeping activities and services provided by external agencies. - Manage canteen services, ensuring hygiene and food availability during shifts. Conduct surprise checks on kitchen facilities to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards. - Monitor food quality in alignment with the food committee’s guidelines; ensure proper disposal of leftovers and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas. **Educational Background And Work Experience** - Ex - defence personnel with a minimum rank of Captain. - Experience in military police is an advantage. - Age limit: Not more than 42 years. - Proficiency in Kashmiri, English, and Hindi languages. - Preference will be given to candidates from Kashmir. **Competencies** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and team members. - Passion for processes, systems, and maintaining discipline.
