LOCATION: Kurla, Mumbai JOB OVERVIEW: The incumbent will support the companys Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT), KYC and sanctions compliance framework. The role involves transaction monitoring, alert investigation, customer due diligence, screening and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable RBI, PMLA and FIU-India requirements. QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS: • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Banking, Law, Risk Management or related discipline. • AML Certifications such as ACAMS, CAMI, ICA AML, IIBF AML or equivalent would be an advantage. • Prior experience in AML/KYC/Compliance within a bank, NBFC, fintech or financial institution is preferred. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Good understanding of AML/KYC, CDD/EDD, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring. • Basic knowledge of PMLA, RBI KYC/AML guidelines and FIU-India reporting requirements. • Strong analytical and investigative skills. •Good written and verbal communication skills along with Strong documentation and report-writing skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information. • Proficiency in MS Excel and other standard office applications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitor transactions and investigate, analyse and disposition AML alerts, including identification and escalation of potentially suspicious or unusual activities. • Conduct customer and transaction screening, including due diligence on screening hits and adverse media checks, with appropriate documentation. • Support KYC/CDD, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), customer risk assessment and Beneficial Ownership (BO) identification, particularly for high-risk customers and complex entities. • Assist in identifying and reporting suspicious transactions and other applicable regulatory reports to FIU-India/RBI within prescribed timelines, and maintain relevant records and regulatory communications. • Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails for AML reviews, investigations, dispositions and regulatory reporting. • Prepare AML MIS and management reports for Senior Management, Board, Compliance and Audit Committees. • Support internal, statutory and regulatory audits/inspections by providing required AML/KYC records, information and clarifications. • Monitor closure of AML/KYC action points and escalate material AML concerns, compliance breaches and overdue actions to the reporting manager. • Ensure assigned activities are carried out in accordance with the Companys AML/KYC framework, internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements. • Keep abreast of applicable RBI, FIU-India and other AML/KYC regulatory developments and assess their impact on business processes, systems and controls. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers for effective execution of AML/KYC activities.
