About Position: We are seeking an experienced Tech Project Manager to drive and manage software development programs across the engineering organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong Program and Project Management expertise, deep BFSI domain experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery from inception through production deployment. • Role: Tech Project Manager • Location: Bengaluru • Experience: 15+ Years • Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: • Manage a portfolio of projects across multiple business verticals and technology teams. • Track project health, risks, dependencies, milestones, and delivery timelines. • Build and maintain strong relationships with client IT and business leadership teams. • Manage customer expectations regarding delivery models, resource allocation, communication, and governance. • Act as the primary liaison between Engineering, Product Management, Delivery, Sales, and Client stakeholders. • Support business growth initiatives by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals and RFP responses. • Drive software releases and ensure successful delivery from development through production deployment. • Develop and communicate project strategies, roadmaps, risks, challenges, and mitigation plans. • Partner closely with Engineering Leads, Architects, Product Managers, Test Teams, and Delivery Teams. • Monitor project execution and proactively address delivery challenges. • Lead release management processes and continuous delivery improvements. • Implement project governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and performance metrics. • Manage project budgets, resource planning, schedules, and delivery commitments. • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies, SDLC standards, and organizational best practices. • Facilitate stakeholder communication, executive reporting, presentations, and status updates. • Drive process optimization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. • Support SLA management, customer satisfaction, and program success metrics. • Lead multiple concurrent programs and initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Expertise You'll Bring: • 15+ years of overall experience in the IT industry. • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Project, Program, or Delivery Management roles. • Strong experience managing complex software delivery programs within the BFSI domain. • Proven track record of delivering large-scale technology programs from initiation through implementation. • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. • Experience working with Java, ReactJS, AWS, or similar enterprise technology stacks. • Strong expertise in Portfolio Management, Risk Management, and Release Management. • Experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously. • Strong client-facing experience and executive stakeholder management capabilities. • Ability to influence cross-functional teams across multiple organizational levels. • Expertise with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence. • Experience conducting project planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource management. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities. • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. • Ability to manage uncertainty and navigate complex enterprise environments. • Experience working with global delivery models including offshore-onshore engagements. • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and account growth strategies. • Knowledge of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and performance management practices. • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide project managers and delivery teams. • PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications. • Experience responding to RFPs and participating in pre-sales activities. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices. • Experience in managed services and large enterprise transformation programs.
