Unit Finance Head Location: Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospital Nagar Road, Pune Function: Finance Experience: 5+ Years Post-Qualification Experience, 8 Years Post CA Inter Qualification: Chartered Accountant, CA Inter About the Role We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Unit Finance Head to lead the finance function of the hospital. The role will be responsible for driving financial performance, managing costs, ensuring strong financial controls, and providing strategic financial insights to support the hospitals business objectives. Key Responsibilities • Identify and optimize revenue streams while managing costs to achieve the desired EBITDA of the unit. • Develop and implement finance strategies aligned with the hospital’s business goals. • Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and business insights to support decision-making. • Oversee the hospital’s financial accounting, credit, collections, and related finance functions. • Ensure timely collection of receivables and effective management of outstanding debtors. • Monitor key financial and operational performance metrics and initiate corrective and preventive actions wherever required. • Ensure books of account are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and organizational policies. • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial and analytical reports, highlighting significant variances and deviations to management. • Drive process improvements and enhance the efficiency of the hospital’s finance and administrative operations. • Establish clear performance targets and KPIs for the finance team and monitor achievement against defined objectives. • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team through training, performance management, continuous feedback, and capability-building initiatives. • Recognize and reward high performance while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. • Partner with hospital leadership and other functions to provide financial insights and support business and operational decisions. What We’re Looking For • Qualified Chartered Accountant, CA Inter • Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience, or 8+ years of post CA inter • Prior experience in a hospital/healthcare environment will be an added advantage. • Strong understanding of financial accounting, budgeting, MIS, credit control, receivables, and cost management. • Knowledge of SAP is preferred. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. • Strong leadership and team management capabilities. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Ability to think creatively, identify opportunities, and drive business outcomes. • Highly driven, self-motivated, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
