Job Title: Workforce Planning Analyst / Workforce Manager Job Category: Business Administration & Operational Management Location: Pune / Hyderabad / Bangalore Preference: Candidates with prior HSBC experience preferred; however, dynamic candidates with relevant workforce planning experience will also be considered. Company: HSBC (Payroll: Allegis Group contract of 1 year and extendable ) Work Model:- Hybrid Role Overview The Workforce Planning Analyst will be responsible for the end-to-end management of workforce planning activities across one or multiple service lines. The role involves partnering with Operations Managers to develop and maintain workforce plans, manage recruitment pipelines, oversee contingent workforce onboarding and offboarding, ensure data accuracy, and support workforce strategy execution. The ideal candidate should have strong workforce management experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, strong analytical capabilities, and a solid understanding of recruitment and workforce lifecycle processes. Key Responsibilities Workforce Planning & Management • Manage and maintain workforce plans for permanent and contingent resources aligned with business priorities and funded projects. • Partner with Operations Managers to understand workforce requirements and implement workforce plans effectively. • Monitor workforce demand, capacity planning, hiring requirements, and resource allocation. • Drive all workforce planning transactional activities and ensure timely execution. • Ensure adherence to workforce planning policies, procedures, and governance standards. • Maintain high-quality workforce data within workforce management systems and tools. • Track workforce metrics, headcount movements, attrition, and staffing forecasts. • Support workforce reporting and provide actionable insights to leadership teams. Recruitment & Hiring Management • Manage and monitor the recruitment pipeline across assigned service lines. • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition teams and hiring managers to ensure timely closure of open positions. • Track hiring progress, approvals, offer status, onboarding timelines, and fulfillment metrics. • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle. • Ensure recruitment processes are aligned with workforce plans and budget requirements. Contingent Workforce Management • Manage contingent workforce onboarding and offboarding activities. • Maintain contractor tenure tracking and compliance monitoring. • Ensure timely processing of resource extensions and exits. • Coordinate with vendors, HR teams, and stakeholders to support workforce operations. Workforce Insourcing Support • Support workforce insourcing initiatives and scaled hiring programs. • Assist in executing workforce transformation and resourcing strategies. • Educate hiring managers on workforce planning frameworks and hiring best practices. • Drive actions aligned with workforce insourcing plans and strategic workforce objectives. Process Improvement & Tooling • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. • Recommend enhancements to workforce planning tools and systems. • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for workforce management solutions. • Support implementation of new processes, tools, and workforce planning initiatives. Stakeholder Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, hiring managers, HR teams, vendors, and business leaders. • Act as a trusted advisor for workforce planning and resource management activities. • Provide workforce insights and recommendations to support business decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications Essential Skills • Strong understanding of the end-to-end workforce management lifecycle. • Experience in workforce planning, capacity planning, and resource management. • Knowledge of recruitment processes and hiring lifecycle management. • Experience in contingent workforce management, onboarding, and offboarding. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office Suite. • Ability to identify and drive process improvements. Preferred Skills • Prior experience with HSBC workforce planning processes and tools. • Knowledge of workforce planning systems and reporting tools. • Experience in UAT testing and process automation initiatives. • Understanding of banking and financial services workforce operations. • Knowledge of market trends, regulatory environment, and workforce strategy.
