IT Business Analyst + Scrum Master Company: HSBC Payroll: Allegis Group Payroll Location: Pune (Hybrid) Contract Duration: 1 Year Contract (Extendable) Experience: 7-10 Years Role Purpose We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with proven Banking/Financial Services experience who can drive Agile delivery, manage stakeholders, and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Business Analysis, Agile Scrum, Jira, Confluence, and Banking Domain, along with the ability to work closely with business, technology, risk, compliance, and operations teams. Top 5 Mandatory Skills • Banking / Financial Services Domain • Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering • Agile Scrum / Scrum Master • Jira & Confluence • User Stories, Acceptance Criteria & Stakeholder Management Key Responsibilities Business Analysis • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements within Banking and Financial Services domains. • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, functional and non-functional requirements. • Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirement walkthroughs. • Translate regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements into implementable solutions. • Support requirement traceability and UAT activities. Agile & Scrum Delivery • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives. • Track risks, dependencies, and project delivery milestones. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and remove delivery blockers. • Maintain backlog quality and sprint readiness. Jira & Confluence • Manage Jira boards, epics, stories, workflows, and dashboards. • Create and maintain project documentation in Confluence. • Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements through testing and delivery. Stakeholder Management • Collaborate with Business, Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, QA, and Operations teams. • Drive requirement discussions and solution workshops. • Manage stakeholder expectations and project communications. Documentation & Specification Writing • Prepare clear and detailed specifications for development teams. • Define scope, assumptions, business rules, validations, interfaces, and acceptance criteria. • Create process maps, decision logs, release documentation, and project artefacts. Required Skills • 7-10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst. • Strong Banking / Financial Services industry experience. • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. • Agile and Scrum delivery experience. • Experience acting in a Scrum Master capacity. • Strong stakeholder management skills. • Experience with SDLC, Testing Lifecycle, and UAT. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills • Regulatory and Compliance project experience. • Audit and Governance exposure. • UX/User Journey documentation experience. • AI-assisted delivery or Spec-Driven Development (SDD) exposure.
