**Job Title: Operations Administrator – SaaS (Rally, Jira & Confluence)** **Experience** 7–10 years of relevant experience in **SaaS application administration, operations support, and collaboration platforms** **Role Overview** We are looking for an experienced **Operations Administrator** to manage and support SaaS-based Agile and collaboration platforms including **Rally (CA Agile Central), Jira, and Confluence** . The candidate will be responsible for **administration, configuration, user support, and ongoing operations** of these platforms to ensure seamless usage across development and business teams. The role requires strong expertise in **tool setup, governance, integrations, and operational support** , along with a focus on **performance, reliability, and user enablement** . **Key Responsibilities** **SaaS Platform Administration** - Administer and manage **Rally (CA Agile Central), Jira, and Confluence platforms** . - Perform platform **setup, configuration, and customization** based on business needs. - Manage system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts. **Jira Administration** - Configure and maintain: - Projects, workflows, issue types, and schemes - Custom fields, dashboards, and filters - Manage **user roles, permissions, and security schemes** . - Support Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban boards). - Handle Jira performance monitoring and issue troubleshooting. **Confluence Administration** - Manage **Confluence spaces, pages, templates, and access controls** . - Design and maintain **knowledge base systems and documentation structures** . - Support integrations with Jira and other tools. - Ensure content governance and lifecycle management. **Rally (CA Agile Central) Administration** - Configure and support **Rally projects, workspaces, and artifacts** . - Manage user access and Agile reporting dashboards. - Support Agile teams in backlog management and sprint execution. - Ensure effective data usage and reporting within Rally. **Operations & Support** - Provide **L2/L3 support** for platform-related issues. - Handle **incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA)** . - Ensure **high availability and performance** of SaaS tools. - Support users with queries, training, and troubleshooting. **Integrations & Automation** - Manage integrations between **Jira, Confluence, Rally, and other enterprise tools** . - Work with APIs, plugins, and add-ons for extending functionality. - Automate workflows and routine tasks using built-in tools or scripting. **Monitoring & Governance** - Monitor system usage, performance, and health. - Implement and enforce **governance policies and best practices** . - Conduct periodic audits of configurations, access, and data usage. **Reporting & Analytics** - Create and maintain **dashboards and reports** for stakeholders. - Provide insights into **team performance, sprint metrics, and usage trends** . - Support leadership with Agile metrics and reporting needs. **Required Skills & Expertise** **Core Skills** - Strong hands-on experience in: - **Jira Administration (mandatory)** - **Confluence Administration (mandatory)** - **Rally (CA Agile Central) administration** - Experience in **SaaS platform operations and support** **Technical Skills** - Knowledge of: - **Workflow configuration and customization** - **User management and access control** - **Plugin/add-on management** - Familiarity with: - REST APIs and integrations - Basic scripting (Python/Shell/Automation tools) **Additional Skills** - Experience with **Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)** - Familiarity with **DevOps toolchains and CI/CD integrations** - Exposure to **ITSM processes (incident, change, problem management)** **Soft Skills** - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Problem-solving and analytical thinking - User-focused approach with training and enablement mindset **Preferred Qualifications** - Atlassian certifications (Jira/Confluence Admin) - Experience in enterprise-scale SaaS environments - Exposure to **cloud-based integrations and automation tools** **Work Environment** - SaaS-driven collaborative ecosystem - Cross-functional interaction with Dev, QA, Product, and Business teams - May include **on-call or extended support during releases**
