Role Description We are looking for a talented Fraud Investigator responsible for validating or disproving allegations received through the Companys whistle-blower hotline. The role involves investigating fraud and misuse of the Company data / assets. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a passion for research, and expertise in investigative evidence analysis. Responsibilities • Conduct objective, fair, accurate, thorough, and timely investigations into whistle-blower allegations including ethical complaints, unauthorised data extraction etc. • Review and analyze documents, evidences, system logs, and other relevant information to establish facts, assess risks, and determine policy violations or misconduct. • Plan interviews and evidence-gathering activities, working closely with HR, Legal, Compliance, Information Security, and business stakeholders. • Coordinate and work closely with external agencies, consultants, forensic experts, or service providers engaged for investigations and project execution, as required. • Prepare investigation reports and summaries, including findings, conclusions, recommendations, and periodic dashboards, management updates, and presentations for internal review meetings and senior management. • Highlight any control gaps and process weaknesses identified during the review. • Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and accurate investigation logs, case records, and documentation throughout the investigation lifecycle. • Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload to ensure efficient and timely closure of investigations. Requirements • Proven working experience in related field • Preferred qualification of the candidate Chartered Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), MBA, Lawyer with relevant experience. • 3 – 4 years of experience in Fraud investigations department from a reputed CA firm / Industry • Strong analytical, interviewing, investigation, and report-writing skills, with experience in evidence analysis and case management. • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and work independently with minimal supervision. • Good organizational and workload management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple investigations simultaneously within defined timelines. • Hands-on experience with investigation tools, information systems, and analysis of digital evidence, system logs, and records. • High standards of integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and professional ethics. • Willingness to undergo background verification and provide professional references, if required
