Job description

Role & responsibilities; • 3D Modeling & Detailing: Develop highly accurate 3D models for civil and structural elements (e.g., earthworks, foundations, paving, roads, underground utilities) using engineering sketches and specifications. • Construction Documentation: Extract detailed 2D shop drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, rebar detailing, and bar bending schedules from the master model. • Clash Detection & Coordination: Perform multi-discipline clash detection (Navisworks) to resolve spatial conflicts between civil, structural, and MEP models before construction begins. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] • Quantity Take-offs: Support estimation and procurement by generating accurate and automated BOQs (Bill of Quantities) from the models. • Standards Compliance: Adhere to company BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and international information management standards (e.g., ISO 19650). • Site Support: Update As-Built models based on site redline markups and provide digital visual support for construction planning and temporary works Preferred candidate profile • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. • Experience: 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in civil modeling, preferably within an EPC or heavy industrial environment. • Software Proficiency: • Must-haves: Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manage. • Preferred: Civil 3D, Staad Pro, Tekla Structures, or Bentley OpenBuildings. • Industry Knowledge/Experience: Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical complex or another industrial projects.
