BIM Modler - CIVIL

Job description

**Role & responsibilities;** - **3D Modeling & Detailing:** Develop highly accurate 3D models for civil and structural elements (e.g., earthworks, foundations, paving, roads, underground utilities) using engineering sketches and specifications. - **Construction Documentation:** Extract detailed 2D shop drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, rebar detailing, and bar bending schedules from the master model. - **Clash Detection & Coordination:** Perform multi-discipline clash detection (Navisworks) to resolve spatial conflicts between civil, structural, and MEP models before construction begins. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] - **Quantity Take-offs:** Support estimation and procurement by generating accurate and automated BOQs (Bill of Quantities) from the models. - **Standards Compliance:** Adhere to company BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and international information management standards (e.g., ISO 19650). - **Site Support:** Update As-Built models based on site redline markups and provide digital visual support for construction planning and temporary works **Preferred candidate profile** - **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. - **Experience:** 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in civil modeling, preferably within an EPC or heavy industrial environment. - **Software Proficiency:** - *Must-haves:* Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks Manage. - *Preferred:* Civil 3D, Staad Pro, Tekla Structures, or Bentley OpenBuildings. - **Industry Knowledge/Experience:** Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical complex or another industrial projects.
