Deputy Manager/ Manager- Accounts & Finance

Job description

**Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports. - Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and internal controls. - Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate audit processes. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. - Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. - Maintain and update financial policies and procedures aligned with industry standards. - Oversee inventory valuation and cost management specific to steel pipe manufacturing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial analysis and decision-making. - Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and reports. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA preferred. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry. - Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and statutory compliance. - Experience with SAP systems - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. - Knowledge of industry-specific financial practices and cost accounting. **Preferred Attributes:** - Experience working in the steel pipe or manufacturing sector. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
