Die Maintenance Executive /Sr Executive

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of press tools, dies, and related equipment. • Ensure optimum availability of dies to achieve production targets. • Carry out die inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and restoration activities. • Monitor die performance and take corrective actions to minimize rejection and downtime. • Conduct die setting, alignment, and trial activities during production changeovers. • Analyze die failures and implement root cause corrective actions. • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams for smooth operations. • Maintain die maintenance records, checklists, and history cards. • Support new die development, modifications, and commissioning activities. • Ensure proper maintenance of die spare parts and consumables. • Drive TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Preferred candidate profile • Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Tool Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent. • 3-8 years (Executive) / 6-12 years (Sr. Executive) of experience in die maintenance within automotive manufacturing. • Hands-on experience with Press Shop Dies, Progressive Dies, Transfer Dies, and Sheet Metal Tooling. • Strong knowledge of die tryout, die spotting, die assembly, and troubleshooting. • Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
