Role & responsibilities: • Manage recovery of written-off and bad debt accounts within the assigned division. • Manage end-to-end collection activities for write off bucket across the assigned division. • Develop and execute strategies to minimize delinquency and improve recovery percentages. • Monitor bucket-wise collection performance (90+, DPD, NPA and write off cases). • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual collection targets. • Supervise and mentor Area Collection Managers and Collection Executives. • Coordinate with Legal, Operations, Credit, and Sales teams for effective resolution of delinquent accounts. • Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines and internal collection policies. • Manage repossession, settlement, auction, and legal recovery processes wherever applicable. • Conduct regular field visits to monitor collection activities and support critical recoveries. Preferred candidate profile: • 8-15 years of experience in Collections & Recovery within NBFCs, Banks, or Vehicle Finance companies. • Minimum 4-5 years of experience handling high-bucket delinquency (90+ DPD, NPA, Write-Off Portfolio). • Experience in Vehicle Loans, Auto Loans, Commercial Vehicle Loans preferred. • Proven track record of handling large recovery portfolios and multiple locations. • Graduate in any discipline. • MBA preferred. • Age must be less than 40 years.
